Research is completed, content plans have been completed, and finally time to generate and publish the Facebook page.
Who knew that generating a Facebook page and ensuring the layout represented the brands image could be so hard.
This week began with generating page content such as the about description, cover photo and profile picture.
The uniqueness of Clarity Communications lies in the multiple disciplines that operate within the firm.
Finalising the layout for the ICF WA Facebook page was easier as Luke, one of the graphic designers was able to reshape and re size all the photos and images of logos that would be used.
Once the layout was completed, I scheduled the content that had been signed off by both Andrew and Kellie the week prior.
Upon its finalisation, we sent the link out to all members of ICF WA who were then encouraged to interact with the page.
The ICF WA Chapter Facebook page was now live.

At the completion of my internship, ill be handing over the control and monitoring of the page to some of the leadership team.
With this in mind, I was able to generate a style guide for all members to utilise that gave a step by step on how to maintain the page.
I've learnt so much already.
Some of my biggest lessons have been a wake up to how it works in the 'real world'

The Second biggest lesson I learnt whilst in this period of the strategy surrounded the topic of Copyright and its importance within the industry.
As university students, this seems more obvious than not, however what I learnt throughout this internship so far is that copyright is a very grey area with different interpretations and limited finalising knowledge.
I found myself visiting the copyright web page on a daily basis ensuring that what I was posting on the faecbook and blog page were not in breach of the regulations.
Now that the Facebook page was complete, we needed a site to host content.
The Wix page ensured traffic that hit the Facebook page could be driven to an outlet other than the original webpage which was experiencing difficulty.

The Wix page was generated from scratch with the help of Kellie.
It has a about page, a contact page, and a blog page so that potential clientele can easily navigate through the pages to find information on coaches.
This process has brought me to my third lesson was a definition of a draft in the corporate world.
At uni, a draft was your first attempt that you knew you would need to go back and make changes to.
In the real work, this was your final piece.

I'll be a little little more cautious with what I submit from now on as a final piece.
This week we finished both the Facebook and Wix page for our client. Strategy part one is complete.
Next week will be the challenging one. I'll begin my interviews for the media section of the strategy.
