Hi all,
I am excited over the interviews that I pitched for my client, Earth Modes Sanskrit. They are a local band playing World Music with ethnical instruments. They are performing this Saturday, 7pm at Toa Pahyoh HDB Hub for Heartlands Clap!
During their 20-minute performance, the six-member Earth Modes Sanskrit will play four of their compositions which will feature three rarely seen musical instruments: the didgeridoo (a wind instrument of the Australian Aborigines), the dabuka (an Egyptian hand drum); and the djembe (a drum from Ghana, West Africa).
And I managed to confirm 4 interviews for the band. 2 with the local news paper in Life! Straits Times and Berita Harian, and 2 with the local major radio station- Ria 89.7FM and Live 93.8FM.
I think its an achievement for the band and myself. Hope all their interviews will go well!
But an alarming news came in the night that 2 of the members have resigned from the band. And its upsetting that tho much effort has been put in to create publicity for the band but some of the members are resigning. But thats life, it happens even to big organisations.
I will be posting more about the interviews soon!
