First of all I want to apologize for my lateness before entering insightful matters. Recalling back about the first blog, I was in charge of an awareness campaign for diabetes type 1. Being in charge of the campaign my first job was to define the target public. At first, the target public was only the family and friends of the diabetes, then after some discussions with the committee we extended it to the Mauritian society with the key message “Ca me regarde” which means that it concerns everyone. As I was in charge of the campaign, it forms part of my job to look for a design that will attract the attention of our target public and match up with the key message. Well like I always said the best way to start out something is to do some research so as to seek out what has been done before and look up how it can lead up in a direction if any. I found interesting posters that showed out the different symptoms of diabetes; I knew that I wanted something like this that is simple and straight. I went on with my proposition and advantages of using this type of poster which will attract eyesight very easily .Living in a world where people are busy there is a need to grab their attention quickly, so I work harder more to find a poster that will suit these requirement. With the help of my colleagues during a late night meeting, I came up with several propositions and after a brief of what I was seeing through these posters, they voice out their point of view. As employees are one of the primary public of the organization it was important to get feedback from them first. Below is one of the posters for the awareness campaign showing the different symptoms of diabetes type 1.

Research takes time but pays at the end
Hi everyone on board,
While the posters were sent for printing there came an issue concerning the billboards. These might not be available before weeks. There was an urgent need to tackle another media.Fortunately, one of my colleagues came with the brilliant idea for back bus with specific routes around the island to start with and then continues to increase the quantity. This proves to me that when planning something, always expect the unexpected as what you might not imagine might happen.Fortunately the back bus was available and it was also in the budget plan’s limits..Practitioners need to be always ready for any eventuality whether in crisis situation or everyday work as at any time something can fall on you.
