This is the very first event I participated in ever since I started doing my internship at Miri City Council (MCC). It's an event where participants are cycling around Miri City following to the route given behind the registration form.
It was such a hectic day, but nevertheless it was a fun day. I grabbed the chance of assisting the MCC staff in charge of the registration booth to help participants register for the event. Everyone was so busy getting prepared for the event early in the morning. Below are some photos I have taken during the event.
Miri Green Ride

Time: 7 am - 10 am
Venue: Permy Mall (parking area)
Guest of Honour: YB Datuk Lee Kim Shin, Assistant Minister of Communication and Sports Sarawak
The main objectives of this event are:
1. To promote Miri City as the green city
2. To promote cycling as the healthy lifestyle activity
3. To promote racial harmony and community engagement
