In keeping with my primary duty of regular social media updates, I
have been assigned the responsibility of regularly updating TPAL’s blog, as
well as responding to any comments left on the page.
Having often observed many fashion blogs myself in my spare time,
I’m often overwhelmed by luxurious designer brands with unrealistic price tags.
Now while these blogs are always fascinating to browse through and occasionally
daydream about, they only really connect with a small demographic of young
adults. This inspired me to really develop a synced social media plan for
TPAL’s blog which would be used as a medium to communicate thoroughly what TPAL
is all about, a fast fashion, affordable brand that aspires to be in every
girl’s wardrobe.
The future blog posts would consist of an insight into behind the
brand, the people that make up the organisation, the design to manufacture
process and photo shoots, each with a fun creative aspect involved. I thought
this would be a insightful and creative way to broadcast a relatively new brand
into such a competitive market.
In order to get this underway, I attended one of TPAL’s photo shoots
giving me the opportunity to speak to a number of TPAL employees all at the one
time. I asked each employee a series of quirky questions which I would then
include alongside a photo of them, on a series of different blog posts
introducing a little more of TPAL every update.

TPAL shoot!
In addition, I was asked to search for a suitable brand ambassador
for TPAL to employ for future social media use. While this individual would not
be utilized for all typical “brand ambassador” duties, they would attend and
represent TPAL at future events, endorsing the label and helping to publicize the
brand. I was lucky enough to secure a local fashion and journalism student who
has just started her own fashion blog! She has a fantastic social media fan
base and is very knowledgeable in the Perth fashion scene, we are very lucky to
have her on board!

That’s all for now!
Thanks, Kirsten
