Fourth week
This week started with a big task as we were given to summarize
a strategic dossier of seven papers in 500 words. It was quite challenging, as everything I was
reading was important and still I had to do it in 500 words. What to do in this
situation??? Firstly, I read the whole
paper and understood what it was about, then I took all the most important
points and then summarized what was
interesting . There are some factors which were very explicit , then there is
no need to bother, you just have to take is as it is……..
When working in a communication department, you definitely
have to communicate......
A meeting was organised to meet hotel managers and Malls
concerning and upcoming events. E- mails were sent, so I have been calling them
to make sure that they have received the
e-mail and to confirm whether they will attend the meeting or not. Then other
list has to be done so that we can have the number of people coming and ordering
snacks and drinks….
It took me two day, and it was hectic as on the eve of the
meeting, there were still some people who had not replied to the mail and at
3pm I was still trying to get those missing and the list had to be finalised
before 4pm so that the person in charge could phone to order the snacks…..
We were finally able to finalize the list
and everything went well for the
meeting….
Busy week but learning new things..
