All over red rover!

Hi Everyone

This is my final blog entry! For the last three entries I had focused on a particular project that I was able to get involved with during my time at PPR, but for my final entry I thought I would list a couple of smaller projects I was able to work on from a variety of different clients!

Some tasks;

-         -  Update radio data base: just ringing up all the different radio stations in WA (there is actually so many!) and confirming different producers, announcers, news reporters etc. So that records are up to date if any of these stations needed to be contacted. Every intern is given a medium

-         -  Moving offices! An exciting time for PPR was the change of their offices. Now in West Perth, PPR has a lovely new furnished open space office that is sure to impress! So much needed to be done including packaging, unpacking, destroying of information and general cleaning

-         - Creating stakeholder data bases for a variety of clients including; the cancer council (for purple bra day), St. Barts, MdHappy Day and Stockland homes!

-        -  Media clipping reports for Purple Bra Day, which was just a report I put together which was a summary of the media coverage Purple Bra day saw and a brief description

-        -  McHappy Day ambassadors; where I needed to find out which personalities would be in Perth for McHappy Day to be possible ambassadors for this amazing charity

-        -  Blog Monitoring, where I needed to keep track of any mentions of Purple Bra Day from a list of around 50 bloggers who PPR had reached out to about doing possible entries for this great cause.

What have I learnt? So much, my blog entries are only a small fraction of what I was able to experience. Working in a consultancy environment gave me to opportunity to work on so many different briefs for different clients which was so good as I got to do little bits and pieces.

Overall my time at PPR taught me so much and I have had the most amazing experience working for such an amazing professional company that really is top notch when it comes to public relations!

I hope that everyone else who is doing PR Internship also had such rich experience and loved it as much as I did!!

Thanks for reading!

Emily
