Putting that aside, Relay For Life Curtin had successfully raised $32,915 as of today and a total of 22 sponsors with a total value of around $65,000!! In my previous post, I wrote that our goal was to reach 20-30 sponsors and at that time it seemed far fetch. However, now being only a week away, we had achieved that goal. HURRAY!
On top of that, I had put together a team to participate in the Relay For Life Curtin Event. I had managed to gather 10 of my friends to run for cancer and many thanks to their generous donations.
However, before today, it was really difficult to get them to register online. Many had pulled out last minute due to many assignments being due around this time. Nevertheless, even though being disappointed, I took it positively. "I lose some, I gained some". Therefore, reaching 10 members is a great achievement for me and I am very proud to say our team had raised $375 solely on donations.
