Juggling writing styles

In PR courses we are taught how to write in a number of styles for a number of different formats. However when you're working on three different publications at the same time it can all get rather confusing.

In my internship I was writing for internal communications, external communications and communications plans.

It was particularly to get my head around keeping jargon and technical details in my internal communications and out of my external comms. I had to keep asking myself 'who am I writing for?' because it was easy to get stuck.

I was grateful to get so much experience writing for such a variety of publications. I just have to make sure I write to the audience more.
