The glass is half full

Good day to you all, friends and comrades in our quest to garner knowledge!

I do bid you all a rather fearsome, yet politely optimistic good evening from here in Perth, Australia. It's about the 10 day point now, or rather a bit over I think. The glass is always half full in PR, as is optimism the very foundation of a good PR pitch, an interview, or a media release. Everything is a 'can-do' attitude,' nothing too hard, too ambitious, or impossible, as is the case at PPR. This week I found myself helping prepare an interview set, for a rather important session, with someone really influential. As to whom this person is, I'm not really sure if I'm allowed to divulge that, but believe me, it was a very amazing interview! The room was too small, yet our video team made it work like a charm, and it turned out great, and I even got to help arrange a few things. It's the 'can-do' attitude that is integral in making PR work for you.

This week I got to be a little creative, in coming up with a questionnaire posing a range of meaningful questions that will hopefully help create a good story. There is a lot of theory in PR, but a lot of the time its the creativity that makes it all shine. Just like a new car won't shine forever, unless its waxed and polished. The creativity brings out the best in PR, which is why it's at the forefront of CREED.

Time as in all currencies needs to be carefully managed, and being that the case, it's about 11.10pm now, and I should really get to sleep, and log some 'non-billable'  hours into my diary :)
