During the
past few months, I have gained a lot of experiences and lessons from interning
at Momentum Forum Events. The opportunity to do my internship has definitely helped
me to grow not only professionally but also personally. I was able to apply the
public relations knowledge and skills that I developed from university in a
real work situation.
I am really
grateful to my supervisor who has guided me throughout the internship and has
taught me a lot of valuable skills that will help me to prepare for the next
phase of my working life.
Through
this internship, I was able to carry out a lot of public relations activities
such as writing a media release, event management, sending out sponsorship
proposal, promotion and doing e-newsletter, compiling media lists, to name a
few.
Never have
I thought that I would be given a chance to work for such amazing company
that has a great record in organizing recognizable
events on the social and fundraising scene. I can honestly say that this
internship has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of high profile and
influential people.
The time I
have spent interning at Momentum Forum Events is an experience that I will
never forget. I am looking forward to adding more experience by helping out on
Momentum Forum’s upcoming event, Men in Black Ball.
