Hello. its been a while since my last post. january has been a rough week for Padma Hotel. Padma had been chosen as the official hotel for the National Kalimantan Badminton Competition. throughout the week, we've deal with so many cases.
i realized that most of the things i learnt from the book is not applicable when it comes to practical stuff. for example, last few weeks me and my boss went to a huge hyundai factory in tangerang. i thought this is a good chance for me to get to know more people outside my territory and expand my networks. so i started to introduce myself, share information and get their name cards. 30 minutes of networking feels like 3 hours long for me. it is so hard to communicate when you don't have material to share with the opponents. nonetheless, it's a good opportunity for me to learnt more.
ciao for now

Well where books doesnt teach, practice and internship does:)
it is good to jump in the big sea of clients, journalists to expand our network and build contacts.
and it is true it is indeed very hard to communicate when you do not have back up facts or material to share.
you are right ..hands on experience does not have much to do with the books as in most cases we learn whatever we learn now from there we work with people who started work like for the past 5 years.so what we do is we first learn how they do it and its realy difficult to change some things more especially if one is not in the top management.as for me some of the times i felt like i did not have to go study for me to do the job.
