Meeting people who have come to a networking event and then gotten a job from it a week later makes you realise just how much it can help in the job hunting process. I've also noticed how the girls at the Lunchbox List office have used networking in their everyday work. When we are trying to get some information to the right people at a company and not sure who is the best person to get in touch with, a lot of the time one of the girls will know someone we can contact to point us in the right direction. I'd encourage you to get out there as much as possible, you never know what doors might open while you are networking!
