My PR internship is with the Marketing and PR Department at Hansgrohe Singapore, where I work full time as a Trainer & Aquademie Manager. Hansgrohe is a German-based leading manufacturer for bathroom fittings; Aquademie means "Water Academy", a place where we conduct trainings for our dealers and potential corporate customers such as residential and hotel developers, architects & designers. It also serves as a retail boutique since it is strategically located along Mohamed Sultan Road, where a lot of premium condominiums are situated too.
My job scope as an Aquademie Manager requires me to perform some PR roles such as conducting Aquademie tours for non-retail visitors and also participating in the organisation and hosting of the company's events on a project-to-project basis. As such, I am already working very closely with the Marketing & PR Department. For the purpose of this PR internship programme, I initiated certain add-on PR duties to my current job scope, also to help out my colleagues in the Marketing & PR Department, who were heavily loaded with all the marketing work required by our business region in the Far East (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam and Cambodia).
This internship programme comes at a very exciting and "eventful" period of the year where we have a lot of PR happenings, there is our Annual Golf Invitational Event in August, the Axor Urquiola Product Launch in September and our inaugural Green event in December.
In the upcoming posts, I will be sharing my experience in these 3 projects. Although they are all events primarily, they are angled very differently with unique objectives and messages.
Stay tuned!

The Green event sounds interesting :) Does it have anything to do with prudent water consumption?
