As I said before, I had to find places to do the concert. At the last minute AIMS managed to do its first concert against discrimination at a new and well known shopping mall in Mauritius called Les Halles. Before the concert I had the chance to see the musicians doing their last rehearsals. Although there was a slight misunderstanding before the concert, where the Shopping mall manager had at some point asked us to have our musicians removed all their musical instruments at his mall, I managed to help clear the misunderstanding and AIMS managed to do its first concert against discrimination on Saturday 18th of September. I contacted the different media for coverage and although they said it was done at the last minute, I explained that we received approval to do the concert at the last minute and they offered to help us in getting people aware of the concert.
It is a nice feeling to have contacted the different people and plan the concert. For me this has become a big achievement. I am happy to have got this experience here at AIMS.
