It's coming to an end of my work experience with GGF but I actually would like to stay on with them! Even just to help them out in any way I can. It's mainly because I would simply like to do this with whatever free time I can find and because I feel I can do a lot more than I have due to time constraints in juggling uni work and everything else at this moment in time.
However, I would really like to emphasise how I much I wish this work experience entailed going into an office more than just once a week. It would give me so much more experience than I can say I have gained at this time.
In understanding the difficulties the people of GGF have themselves trying to juggle other commitments as well, they have tried to delegate tasks to each of us which should help us in our report. I hope it does me justice. I seem to be having trouble with this computer right now but when I return with another blog I shall attach the PDF of our Sponsorship and Partnership opportunities at GGF.
For now, this computer is causing too much grief and I will return on one that will allow me to demonstrate my true thoughts for the past and coming days.
See you all soon!

Hello Cheryl,
It is good to see that there are still people that are ready to help out others without being paid for it. Working out of your own kindness is in your benefit, as you will gain a significant advantage for later as you would have been able to show your passion towards PR while continue gaining experiences.
Some advice I can share with you concerning your desire to help your organization is to first write up your report. Indeed, when writing your report you will see the bigger picture and have a better understanding of your organization. Moreover, you will highlight the issues of your company but also bring rational recommendations to fix these issues – this will be a huge advantage in going back to your organization.
I did my placement at The University of Melbourne and will be starting my master there in July. Casual work while doing my placement has been discussed. I know that the recommendations I have made will help me in getting the job, as they have already begun to talk about some of these recommendations to see if they would be appropriate to put into practice.
Do not be scared to underline issues and make recommendations. Most companies find it beneficial to have an outside perspective. In your case it will be very useful and may even help you to get a real paid position.
Let me know how you go.
Melissa
