I cannot believe that my internship has flown by so quickly at the Ministry of Education and Human Resources. Getting to see a few different aspects of the Ministry has been such an experience! I've loved working with the Advisor, attending events, communicating with the public, liaising with the media, etc. During the internship, I loved being able to get a behind the scenes glance at the preparation of events, dealing with the media.
Looking back on the internship, some of the best times I had was, interacting around the office. The people with whom I was working made my internship super fun, and I cannot thank them enough. It's been so interesting getting to do things like updating the newsletter of the Ministry, helping in writing speeches, sending invitation to the media, helping in organizing events, doing summaries of articles for the Minister.
My advice to anyone who wants an internship in the Ministry of Education and Human Resources is to keep your eyes open for any opportunity and always be open to trying something new! Keep checking articles on education and what is happening in Mauritius, this will really help you in your interview and in your future professional life.
