Hi everyone, it has been more than 2 weeks since my first post. I hope everyone is enjoying their placement so far. For me, this is really going to be a hectic period for me. One of my colleagues is going for a four months maturity leave and the other full-timer and I have to take over her accounts that she has been handling. I believe that this is really a good chance for me to learn everything I can about PR.
On top of this, my personal workload is also piling up, as mentioned in my first post; my boss is giving me more responsibilities now. She has asked me to work on press releases and PR reports for our clients. As 2012 is approaching (5 more days to be exact), PR reports are soon to be due, so are the press releases for Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day. Currently, I have 2 press releases, 2 PR report, 1 post event evaluation to complete by then. Guess I have to work over my New Year to complete these.
Nonetheless, my holiday mood just won’t go away. This is probably one of the reasons why I have low productivity this few days. My office had a mini Christmas party last Friday and we exchanged presents. The whole office had to be in either white or green or red to celebrate this Christmas. No photos to be posted yet as all the photos are with my colleague.
I can really feel the bond between me and my colleagues and we would really celebrate these festive seasons together. My colleague invited everyone to her house for a New Year party on the 7th January 2012. I guess this is the advantages of working in a small company. I am so looking forward to it.

Hello Katie!
Its great to hear that your doing more than just media kits now. Haha. Anyway, I had also a chance to work on pess releases and I had fun wrting them.
I could not agree more when you said that your holiday mood is on high mood. My whole office is so quiet as most of them are on leave.
Anyway, see you soon in school and happy holidays!
Hi Katie,
I have been really busy too with everyone's stuff piling up on my table as I am the only intern.
Anyway, how's the press release? Has it been sent out to the media and published in the papers or magazines? I hope it does! :)
All the best in writing the rest of the press releases and have a great year ahead!
Regards
Shurong
