I am heading into my third week of prac here at Rottnest Express, and now that I have finished my brief pitch it is time for me to start doing some field work!
This work involves me doing market research on international, interstate and intrastate tourists staying in and around Perth. The aim of this research is to find out the different places tourists choose to go, why they choose to go there and most importantly why they have chosen such a place over Rottnest.
This research is aimed to help Rottnest Express come up with a plan to entice more tourists to their destination. I will get to be a part of this once all the research is done so I am looking forward to all the hard work being put into action :)
This week I will be going to the city and Fremantle and conducting face to face interviews with tourists. Next week I get to go to Hillary's boat harbour and swan valley (which i am looking forward too!)
Its not too tough a job when i get to visit all these beautiful places :)
