After nearly for four
months of renovation, Le mèridien Kota Kinabalu officially launched their new
restaurants and bar Latitude 05, Latest Recipe and Favola this year.
Interestingly, I’ve got the opportunity in getting involved with the
preparation for the upcoming restaurant. In Marketing Communication Department,
we often deal with the media – journalism and editor in terms of issuing the
press releases to them.
Despite that, I
was extremely happy that my supervisor asked me to called media for “Media Heart
Hat Tour” invitation for our new hub (lobby) launching. There was a lot of
media outlet had been invited which includes See Hua, Borneo Post, Food Blogger
- Anna, Foodie Blogger, Sabah Property and etc. It was a brilliant community
relationship with them through the tour. At the moment, I did realize PR was
heavily involved, especially in the way that it created communication between
the media as well as the public.
Throughout this
tour, I have totally opened my eyes to the vast variety of foods and wines and
the media lifestyle in Sabah. It also assisted me to get smart on how to
pursuit on this very specific sort of media.
Below are the
pictures and the descriptions of the new restaurants and bar – Latitude 05,
