Hi Everyone!
My Internship at Magnetize came to an end a few weeks ago however due to the valuable experience I was receiving I asked my MD Alex if I could possible extend my time with them. Fortunately they said yes! I'm very much so excited to be staying on with the team until at least the end of July which will allow me to see through some of the events I was working on during my 20 day placement. However I wanted to take this time to let you know the main things I learnt and gained from my time at Magnetize. They are as follows:
Ask Questions
Asking questions of myself and my team members showed that I took initiative to strive for great results. The girls always told me that if there was something I didn't know, to just ask. Because being able to ask the right questions and receive the right answers allows progress to be made. So never stop asking questions!
Dress to Impress
During my time at Magnetize I realised the importance of work attire, it was something that was always of high importance to me but it was confirmed by my peers who told me I looked like part of the team. This reassurance made me feel like less of an impostor and more like I actually deserved to be there. Not only that but how you present yourself is the first thing people look at, if you aren't looking the part their first impression is already going to be a little off.
Share your Ideas
Sharing my ideas with the rest of my team was always something that was appreciated. If I thought there was a way to potentially better a post or a faster way to do a task I was always willing to let someone know. The feedback I received was highly valuable and allowed me to further develop my critical thinking process.
So there it is, my top three things I learnt during my time at Magnetize. I'd just like to say I wish all of my fellow students the best in their future endeavours. Also I'm sure that I speak for all of us when I say that this unit has been the most valuable that I have undertaken during my time at Curtin. Its an experience that I will truly treasure forever.

Hello!
I completely agree with you.
In an interview, the way you dress influences the interviewer’s first impression of you. Dressing professionally demonstrates respect, and also shows the employer that you take the interview seriously. It can also boost your own self-confidence.
In the workplace, the way you dress is important because it affects how others perceive you. If your clothes are clean, neat and professional, it shows that you take pride in yourself and your position. When meeting with a superior or a client, your professional dress instills confidence in them about your abilities.
I have experienced this during my internship and i will definitely take this into consideration when I am employed later on. Indeed what you said totally makes sense ;)
Cheers and good luck for the future
