start of my first placement

hello everyone ,

i am yamuna form charles telfair institute Mauritius. I am doing my palcement at the Imagine communication located at Portlouis Mauritius. Imagine communication is a company which offers total and comprehensive communication services to its clients/partners in terms of PUBLIC RELATIONS, EVENTS, MEDIA & OPINION MANAGEMENT.About IMAGINE COMMUNICATION stands as a creditworthy institution with immense goodwill. itactually his clients/partners come from various sectors of the Mauritian economy and no client is too big or too small for the company. Its team is committed to serve the agency and thereby our clients/partners’ interests with a deeply rooted sense of professionalism, dedication, and integrity. My first day was awesome since it started with the press conference of Air Mauritius. Air Mauritius was going to change its logo. our company as the Public Relation Consultant work on thatproject. The press conference was going to start at 3 pm. so early in the morning we started to complete and a final touch to t he press kit and press pack. my boss asked me to call all the media that is the Mbc Tv, all the radio station, all the press in mauritius. Firstly i sent them the invitation of the press conference via mail and fax. Then i made a follow up to know if they got the invitation and made sure they are attending the event. Then during the press conference we made an attendance list to know which press has come. The one who has not come we must send the media release. Finally after the presentation and lauchning the logo of Air Mauritius , we started to distribute the press kit to all the media present on that day. This was the first experience that i had in my first day at my work.
