Hey guys!
This is my very first post even though I'm probably halfway through my prac.
I was trying to post on my first day but I couldn't get blogger to work!
Anyway, I know this is late but I wish to reflect to my initial experince of this prac.
I got placed in Colosoul Magazine. I don't know if any of you know about this company, but Colosoul Magazine is a Perth-based magazine company aimed at young people like us!
What I found the most helpful from my interview was that the company was very interested in my ability to understand Japanese.
This is a helpful tip for everyone who are still looking for their placements, because the world today has become more and more globalised and many companies value the ability to understand another language.
I hope this will prove to be helpful for some of you!

Hi Cintya,
this is a timely reminder for everyone to a) accept your Blog invite straight away before it expires and to b) contact peers or your Unit Coordinator if you are experiencing any difficulties. However, check out the Blogger Troubleshooting advice first - your problems might be easily fixed.
Please remember that the Blogs were introduced for YOU! To provide YOU with ongoing feedback and support. As well as to give YOU an opportunity to reflect on your experience. Please make the most out of it. And don't forget: most employers will assume that GenY graduates are highly familiar and comfortable with new media like blogs. If you are not: now is the time to polish those skills! :-)
I hope you are all having a fantastic time in your placements!
Katharina

But now that it's working I will update it with my interesting experiences!
