Hi Everyone,
I have just completed my second last week of my internship, and am now into my final couple of days. The last week or so I have been in charge of liaising with the functions co-coordinators of the corporate companies that are hosting their Christmas parties at the Llama Bar. This has been a particularly interesting experience for me as I have basically been in charge of meeting all of their demands. For the most party they have been very easy to deal with. Their demands have been reasonable and I have managed to figure out how to accommodate for the more difficult clients. The problems that have arisen have generally been issues with the menu or customers not happy about the venue opening to the general public once the function is over. The next month will be interesting as I will be coordinating these parties as they are occurring, making sure the guest are happy on the night. Time management skills, the ability to multitask and great organisation are three elements vital in order to keep everyone happy.
