The Final Journey of my Internship placement

Hey there!

Yes, I have been through fruitful 23 days of Internship, this whole experience has been an eye opener for me. Getting the insights of the PR industry, provides me a more indepth of what is it like in the real world. The practical part of PR is so much different from what we have studied in the classrooms. From this Internship experience, I have learned a couple of new things about myself and the perspective on how I look at things.

We all know that time is everything in this industry, meeting project deadlines, attending meetings, sending press release, media monitoring etc. Time is such an important factor, for the tasks I have mentioned earlier. Through this Internship, I taught myself to be prompt in the task I was assigned. Other than being prompt in work, I feel that it is also crucial to be merticulous in our work. Even though we need to be prompt in our work that does not mean that we could simply compromise on the quality.

For example, there was once when I need to prepared the client's Factsheet. I do constantly remind and ensure myself that the information ensure that the details indicated in the Factsheet are correct. As this document depend largly on the company information, and that this is something we will never want to get it wrong. Hence, it is very important that I am very careful in my work.

This Internship experience has provided an opportunity that is so precious and enriching. The invaluble lesson is going to be a constant reminder on how I should always be merticulous about my work and having the right attitude.

Cheer,
Cinthia
