But in the end we saw that the advantages of using solar power energy over -weighed the disadvantages. One of the most important factors that we looked at was that this battery that it uses has a life span of over 5 years. This will be cheaper for people living in the remote areas. So together with our partners in Botswana and Namibia we agreed to contribute 2.5% towards the project. We are going to install solar power systems in 83 households for the Seronga Community for free .

PHOTOVOLTAIC CELL PROJECT ( CSR at Skillshare International)
We are working on a project called the Photovoltaic Cell project. The main motivations and objectives of the programme are to increase the use of sustainable energy sources in Botswana and Namibia , to provide power to rural areas, to provide a new source of income through training in the installation and maintenance of the equipment, and to reap a host of other, linked benefits. During our meetings it was said that solar power uses a battery to produce energy. So we had an argument that , since we do not want harm the environment in our projects are we not being unethical now, because the process of making batteries involves the use of non- renewable resources.
