Last week,my colleagues and I were deeply buried in work, as notice for a new and rather big Tender, being BPOMAS (Botswana Public Officers Medical Aid Scheme) was out. The invitation from Bpomas, invited suitably qualified local advertising and promotional agencies for the conceptualization, formulation, development and execution of the Scheme's advertising and promotional activities in collaboration with the sales and marketing departments.
Firstly, a meeting was called,including me of course, to discuss and brainstorm on how to go about landing this potential client. In doing so, a power point presentation on the background of Bpomas and information about it was formulated so as to identify ways in which to develop a promotional strategy that is unique and fresh.
We as the Public Relations practitioners, brainstormed on a THEME evolving the client and the given requirements, which I was assigned to do the SWOT analysis, quite a process, but once that was done, the Marketing, Events and Design departments formulated activities or work with the given theme in mind.

The above is what we worked on and formulated. It took two days for us to work on this tender throwing ideas and knocking our heads together. Our fingers are crossed in hopes to win this.
