My company had given me the task of emailing and following up on future potential clients. This was started firstly by creating a list of clients that have never worked with company before and i also took hold of the ones that have done business with the company back in time with the motive of creating new and fresh deals. Following this I updated, edited and sent out a summarized version of the company's credentials to the pontential clients. One most important factor that i have learnt to carry out after this action is to follow up with a phone call. Of course, it should be mentioned in the email that the email will be followed by a phone call. So i got hold of all the in charge personnels and mostly it should be Brand Managers, Marketing & Advertising Officers.
Declination or rejection should never create room for disappointment. This is the motto that i live by. So whether there was a decline for the company to present the credentials to a particular potential client the search should still go on. I have learnt that discouragement should never be part of the process. Striving forth illuminates the vision to excel in every professional area.
My effort did not result in sealing in new business deals but the one thing that i am pleased to announce is that most of the potential clients had the intentions of liaising with the company on their future projects that will be carried out later during the year.So this brings a smile to my face with thereflection that i have sown seeds that will be reaped someday and in that way i have contributed to the company as a whole.
The sky is the limit. Giving up should never be an option, striving forth is the key. I am contributing to the elevation of my company, Are you?

This reminds me of a duty i had to perform during my placement. Since i was working for an internet based company it means all communication between existing clients and the company is through e-mails. Instead of calling them i had to send out and respond to e-mails, every now and then there would be what is called an e-mail blast sent out to all the company's mailing lists, both new and old, and as such clients needed more information and clarification and i was in the role of mediator between the company and the clients which means i had to be updated about everything going on so i could provide sufficient information and help merge new relationships. I guess we can both agree that although this sounds like a very simple task it is also a very important one and should not be taken lightly.
