what a great experiece !

hi everyone!

I am Esther Mothibedi a student of LUCT malaysia and i am currently doing my public relations internship at Monat Communications. The company is based in Subang Jaya Business Centre. The company is specialising in business process outsourcing and technology. Through the use of technology and strategic alliances, Monat call center seamlessly link together to create an international network. Monat communications has both Marketing and Public relations fields. Monat Communications is currently working with quite a lot of successful clients around Malaysia.

Well the first few days i was introduced to some team workers and how to talk to clients. It was really challenging to me as it was my first time to work. Besides the introduction to the company i was also trained to do some works within the company. I kept on forgeting but i had that hope that after i complete the first wekk everthing will be fine.

My supervisor introduced me to one big event that will held at the end of the year called deliciously one Malaysia. The event is an annual one and it involves indiginous and cultural food exhibitions in Malaysia. The event is organised by The Malaysia Selangor and Federal Territory Ku Su Shin Choong Hung Restaurant Association (Ku Su) and presented by Ministry of tourism Malaysia. On this one my task was to make a plan of activies that could be featured in any stall during the food shows. It was a bit tricky to me as i had to do lot of reaserch about the indiginous foods in Malaysia and decide which organisation will be responsible for my activities.

At work they told me that i have now joined the real world of public relations and that i have to come up with possible decisions on whatever i was intending to do. I had to do my assignment within four days. Towards the end of the week i showed my to my supervisour to check on my progress and i was told to submitt the final draft on friday.

So far everything is fine and i am really happy because i am working with very energetic people and i really feel at home. I work from Monday until Saturday every week and i hope everyone of your who are doing your internships now are really happy with it.
