the fun part of the internship

hey all

So I'm on my final days and working really hard to get everything done, and trying to submit all other assignments that are flowing around me, it's a fact it's the hardest times I've ever went through, I feel like I won't be able to have everything done, but I know still that I will fight till my last breath :)
This week I'm on five assignments for my four modules combined, and for me the internship is really like fresh air over my busy student life. so this week I'm having fun working on the event to celebrate the anniversary of the company, after a lot of hard thinking I've decided to submit an original and uncommon program and theme: The Aldo Casino.
I've designed the cards according to the theme, the director Dominique de Comarmond was very happy with the theme but wanted me to have all the details done and submitted to him before I could go through the reservings and everything. therefore now I'm even designing the decor for the party, deciding on the dress codes, the types of food and drinks to include in the evening that would give value to the theme and decor, I must say everything is running smoothly, it's really fun to have an event on the way to safe port. I'm also working on the design and content as their website as they do not have one, the website will contain the homepage, services, employee details, a photo gallery and useful tips page. the website seems to be ok for the time being, I will be finishing filling in the contents and relevant infromation till friday and will then submit it to the direction.

the newsletters, brochures and media kit are more easier tasks to perform, we will all agree with that I supposer because we've being doing those since the first module for PR and they are quite easy to handle now. I'm very happy to have done this internship and I'm sure that I will largely benefit from it in my future career, we are privileged in this sense here in Mauritius because we are the only students getting this professional training, being part of the CURTIN University opens a lot of prospects for us. when we look at the level of professionalism other institutions here are offering for this degree we cannot do differently than feel privileged, we get the best weapons and it's a real advantage for us, and it probably counts on the balance while we go for a job after the degree.
