Staying on your Tippy Toes

Hi all!

Blog post no.3 and we get ever closer to the finish line!

Today will be a short post on team work and dealing with last minute requests from clients.

On Wednesday, the client called me up to request that the media coverage for this week be sent on Friday 12 noon instead of our usual Monday 10.30am deadline because her colleague needed to make a presentation at a management meeting on Friday. I told her she'll get the report on time and she did.

However, right after the report was sent out she made another request if we could provide her with the AVEs for the project for the past month. Any of you out there who've been through calculating AVEs for a ton of coverage will understand it takes a significant amount of time. Thankfully, my account manager pitched in to help me and 2 other colleagues to clear the report by COB even though she was clearing some admin as it was her last day at GH. She used to lead this project with us and I was pretty sad to see her go, but she's moving on to better things. Team work is essential and especially in a pinch with tight deadlines, the chemistry between team members becomes all the more crucial. All that group work in university wasn't for nothing afterall. Haha!

That's all for this post. In my next post, I should be posting about PR planning for a LED manufacturer and hopefully we'd have won the project for a media launch of a mega-yacht which is actually the project I'm most excited about.

See you guys next time!
