Hi all,
Whos feeling the uni stress starting to build up? because i definatly am! Work at the Wheelchair Sports WA has been very steady. I have only been given the basic admin tasks which isnt much apart from paper work and answering the phones and filing etc.
My boss however has me writing up player profiles of the West Australians that are going to the London Paralympic Games in 2012. Thats been fun just doing research and finding their current rankings and stats. It got me thinking that i never really took into consideration who these amazing athletes are until i started my placement at Wheelchair Sports WA. Ive also come to the decision that definaltey want to pursure a career in the disability sector. Just looking at how passionate the staff in the office are is really inspiring.
Anyways they also got me to write up a news story on an athlete called Katrina Porter which was interesting.
Bye
