during the first week of my internship i was introduced to the people that i will be working with and my supervisor, i was taken through orientation about the company and what it is expected from as a PR intern, media monitoring, proposals and other PR elements like media kit was what i was responsible for. it was a hectic week as i was also involved in the process of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Persatuan Usahawan Tenaga Malaysia (PUTM).
The MoU was aimed at sharing technical expertise and collaboration on technological innovations with the aim to elevate the expertise Bumiputera entrepreneurs. The experience was tiring but enjoyable at the same time as i learnt a lot on how MoU are carried out out in the professional set up, after the MoU was signed, i was tasked with carrying out media monitoring to find out what was the media saying about the the collaboration, these involved going through different newspapers......
