Hi everyone,
I havent been posting any blogs past the few days - been soo busy juggling uni assignments and internship. Just have to bare with it cause this is my last semester.
Past two days ago, I helped my boss fly out emails to launch her new project to all her contact list - which is the E-coupon book. I helped created the content of the email too - promoting the E-coupon book as well as information on how to subscribe etc. Yesterday i went out with my boss to meet with a few clients - let me tell you.. i felt so nervous and out of my comfort zone. But i looked calm and collected. I paid attention as to how my boss spoke to her clients - very proffesional and her body language showed she was very confident (that is when i realise your body language is important and it leaves an impression to the people you meet). She was well prepared and organised even before hand she met up with the clients - having all materials and proposals ready to show. I listened and learnt as how she pitched her business and negotiated with her clients - Its just so amazing as how she could think of her feet and know what to say in response. She took me out because she wanted me to experience meeting clients and how to pitch to clients - she said before any meetings, you must must always have every material ready, be organise, and prepare for the worst - because sometimes you just dont know what the outcome is.
Today, i started srafting up articles and blogs on interesting topics to write about business - and some of the topics i thought of was "how visual communication plays an important role to your business" - still not sure yet.. just drafting it.. i mean if i do make a mistake or my boss dont agree with it, then ill keep trying..
Hope all of you are doing great!

Just Like your title says 'New beginning,New Challenges' our internship experience serves as a reminder that some day in life which is soon we are bound to face new beginning and new challenges, so every thing learnt during our internship will be of great help and we'll appreciate we had the opportunity to do internship. Good Luck!!
Wow Margareth, that seems like a very nerve wracking experience, but also a valuable one! At uni, we've had so much experience at writing briefs for clients, but not a lot of experience in pitching to real life clients or hosting meetings. Im glad your being exposed to these events in your internship and can walk away with valuable tips. I know i will definitely take into consideration the importance of preparation and body language. Thanks for such an educational post
