Here it goes...

First Day

So..... Like a kid on her first day in the kindergarten, I was nervous Wait. SUPER NERVOUS. It was raining heavily.

It was 7.20 a.m. when I reached the office. I was the first, nobody was there yet.

Newbie much :3

First day was not as heavy as I thought it would be. My supervisor which is also the Corporate Communication Manager, Ms. Agnes Nyelang introduces the role and responsibility that each of us will do.
p/s: There are three of us doing our internship at the office.

We were told that we are only asked to come to the office for three days in a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday).

Later, we were asked to brainstorm a proposal each, for the CSR initiatives of the companies. It was exciting since we get to do a PR Plan for real this time cause we get to plan and to execute it. (instead of the one we always did in class, we didn't get to do it for real. mehhh~) I also get to edit/add on to the media release done by the previous intern before submitting it to the press.

Second Day

Second day felt short and fun.

I continued on with my proposal in the morning. Then I took a five-minutes break to the toilet. When I was on my way back to the office, the CEO's secretary called me and asked me to speak to a guest who came unexpectedly to the office without any appointment. Ms. Agnes was having a meeting with Dr. Kamala so I have to speak to the guest on behalf of her.

When I walked into the reception area, I was surprised to see a very good-looking guy dressing nicely, sitting there reading a magazine.

Turns out the man is working for The Times magazine, Mr. Pablo who came from France. He came to have an interview session with the CEO to feature his story inside the magazine.

That was like superb amazing and unbelievable. I mean.. an international magazine. WOW.

It was such an honor to speak to a professional person working for a well-known international magazine. Hopefully to meet more of those people in the future! *fingers crossed*

Third Day

We had a short meeting on the third day for a full version of task dividing among the three interns.

We were given a schedule on when and what will happen. The deadline for our proposal submission was also set and now the clock is ticking. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK.

So.. til next time! Hope everyone will have a fantastic internship journey ahead :)
