Corporate transformation

Good evening,

This is my  final post, and it marks the end of my journey as an intern in the Solid minerals development funds(SMDF).My last day at work was on the 31st January 2015. Starting from my third week as an intern, I have being sent to sit and experience community relations communications and involved with interactions in the Mining cadastre office( MCO).

Starting of at SMDF was a new experience because being part of the mining sector was entirely something new to me but I have come to learn a lot about not just the sector but Nigeria as a whole. At first I didn't expect to blend in and achieve what i have got to achieve from them but working with this organization has made me transformed into something and someone i was not a month ago.

I enjoyed working with the people i was opportune to work with and have received various comment about how I am not going to take what i have learnt with me but i have also left something they got to learn from me. I have learnt so much with the little time i had in the organization, from organizing, planning, communications and various aspect which will be a foundation in my public relations career.

I will be looking forward to work with the Solid minerals development funds in the nearest future for then i will be a professional Public Relations expert and will like to learn more from the organization but for now living them with well wishes and the best in transforming  the people of its nation and her economy.

With regards
Amate Mohammed

Good job Amate!! Congratulations!! I've done my internship as well, same as you, I loved and enjoyed doing my internship in Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu, I've learned so much stuffs and deal with issues that related with PR. I'm lucky enough to have an awesome supervisor that is willing to teach me everything. So, good luck to both of us in the future!!

Till then,
