Interaction Explored
Finally,
my internship program has comes to an end. I never thought this day would come.
I have very much enjoyed my internship with Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu and PR,
they have taught me so much more than I could imagined, I’ve so much joy with
them, I hope the team at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu have enjoyed having me
around as much as I enjoyed working with them.
When
I began in Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, I felt like a little bird without its wings
because the people they are rich with
experience and knowledge and wondered how I could ever have any impact on a
large organization such as LMKK and continue into the workforce to practice
public relations.
Although
there was some little task that I was given which wasn’t specifically related
to PR, for example like using some specific design software such Adobe
Photoshop and Adobe in design for menu and brochure design, nevertheless, it
has eventually assisted me in terms of learning and broaden my knowledge in
other fields at the same time. Being put under pressure in a professional
environment has been a great experience in pushing myself to go for extra
steps.
After
my placement, I feel I was absolutely making the right decision in choosing Le
Méridien. I gained hands on experience within the industry as well as in
running events. This was my first time
undertaking an internship, and I loved it!
Hopefully Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu
continues to succeed and grow, possibly one day in the near future I will found
myself working with the marcom team again, but until then, I wish them all the
best.
Till then,
