New Day! New Ideas !! Never Stop Exploring !!!

Hi guys!!!  This is my second blog post. It has been 15 days since I started my internship program.  Is that how time flies? It has been an awesome experience so far and I am still looking forward for more to come. I am so indebted to my Boss because without her I wouldn't have come this far in this Internship program.

Season Greetings Card on Fleek
Even though, it’s just 15 days of my internship, yet the experience gained has been a great one.   All my life, I had no idea how to design season greetings card or given an opportunity to design one but the fact that last week was Hari Raya celebration, I spent most of my time editing and making season greetings card for our stakeholders and project volunteers to show appreciation for supporting and investing in our company. Isn't that amazing?  Trust me, the experience gained so far cannot be taught in school because real life is all about experiment whilst school is just the surface of all the experience gained in the real world. Could you believe that I was opportune to access the media list, creating social websites just to be an Editor and attending to clients. Are my not lucky?

Unfortunately, one of the task I was assigned to do last week was to change the theme on our blog website. Frankly speaking, theme changing on blog website is a tiresome and provoking task ever. It actually got me thinking, what is the need of changing “THEME” on the website when there is a perfect one already.  Another experience that I can’t forget so quickly is writing a professional letter to the forestry department to lay a complaint, I never liked letter writing the fact that I have to consider the choice of words and angle to address the receiver. It is indeed a boring task to do. However, it seems those boring task are now becoming my favorite simply because I am left with no option.

Nevertheless, I strongly believe that all experience gained so far is worthwhile, I have learnt a lot from this Internship program and it is all about endurance. Those who want to venture into Public Relations should be ready to face lots of challenge wholeheartedly because what future holds is much more compare to recent world. Thanks

Hi Francisca,

I'm glad you're enjoying your internship! I've been reading your blog since your first post and I can see that you are having a really good time there. I know that the internship period is almost over but do enjoy working to the fullest!

I agree that the experience you gain through this cannot be taught at school or at the university. Stepping into the real world is so much more exciting! Though there will be a few bumps on the road, we must be proactive and be ready to face challenges.

From your post, I can see that you have created season cards for your stakeholders and project volunteers for the Raya festivities. It looks great! I hope you post more of your future ideas and creations.

Best regards,
