it is quite kinky for one to realise on the title of this post.
somehow i do believe it is politics everywhere under the sun.
IT IS. Politics ARE everywhere.
i just realised there are some 'interior conflicts' when a PR executive officer added me in Facebook and told me he had handed in the resign letter.
upon asking why, he told me there are some relationship problems.
oops.
i do agree that sometimes i can see there is some conflicts between colleagues.
it is normal, for that different people would surely have different perspective over a matter.
once i saw my colleague (she is just sitting next to me in the office) was 'discussing' how the another worker (he is the creative director) treats his intern. and once i saw a scene where she threw tandrums when dispatches were sent late resulting a delay in her submission to the runner.
i guess it is all because of stress????
i have seen where two colleagues were trying to annoy each other through 'MSN personal message'. i had no idea what was happening between them and never that i dare to ask. after all, i am just an intern. wow, what a reality PR life i got. but few days later i see that both of them were sharing some cookies.... hmm.
i should say a good corporate governance should be practised for an organization. from what that i can see is the Board of Directors of my company is really doing a good job. BOD will listen to both parties and not doing any negative judgements to one another. this is the reason i could explain for that my company, ROOTS have strong teamwork spirit.
in my humble opinion, do not bring your personal emotions to the work desk. it will only make things worst.
ps: Swine flu crisis is highly on the rise, take good care everyone.
to be continued...

True enough, stress is parts and parcels of life. We must learnt how to handle our stress properly, especially when we are working in such a hectic environment.
Everyone has their stress, but it is a matter of controlling our stress level. There are many factors leading to stress levels, such as financial issues, relationships issues, family issues and many others. I believe that different people handle their stress differently. The postive ways of handling stress will be listening to music, taking a stroll, or even considering a sport.
I believe that no matter what types of stress one is faing, there will always be solutions to handle it.cheers.
You raised some interesting pointers in this blog! It just goes to show how careful you need to be on the internet, especially with collegues. I remember in a class last semester we had this discussion- do you add collegues on Facebook? It is such a tricky question, because it may look like you have something to hide if you dont, but you have to be careful if you do! There have even been instances of people getting fired from their jobs because of what was written to a friend on Facebook!!
All I can say is that the upmost care is needed when speaking to/about a collegue or workplace. What is written can be reread and proven- unlike verbal communication.
I laugh at your sentence about the swine flu being on the rise. My workplace actually put in special measures to combat the office getting sick! This includes:
- voluntary quarantine
- Hand sanitizers being in every cubicle
- Alcohol swipes to wipe down keyboards and phones if someone becomes sick
Kind Regards
LM
