makes you stand out, you'll fit right in at Subi This slogan, as well as another tagline "Be part of something greater" have been part of the Hospital's new Workforce Brand campaign which includes a change of uniforms, change of ID (from lanyards to zingers) as well as a whole revamp of the brand. It was officially launched last Tuesday to both the staff and public and the launch event was a great success!
As part of the new Workforce Brand, these two Facebook pages have been developed and you should definitely check them out and let me know what you think :)
As the photos below will show, staff were given pre-lunch treats of fruit and marshmellows dipped in chocolate fondue, fairy floss, Connoisseur ice cream, french pattisseries as well as a chance to win one of over 300 chocolate prizes from Chokeby Road on the chocolate wheel.
These sites however, have been a critical part of making the changes known to staff and general public alike - as although the launch event had 800 staff attend, obviously being a Hospital - not every staff member could be there.
Throughout the launch week, the Hospital's new mascot "Hearty" was roaming around the Hospital greeting staff. As part of an awareness campaign, whoever snapped a photo of Hearty and posted it to the SJOGHS Careers Facebook page got the most "likes" was in the running to win daily prizes as well as a major prize of an overnight stay at The Vines. This saw the Facebook pages members jump from zero to over 100 in days, with staff joining up so they could enter the competition and encouraging colleagues to do the same also.
The main issue now after the launch is trying to get the remainder of staff to swap over old ID for new ID and change uniforms - as well as responding to questions about the changes. Infact, just today we received notification that someone had sent in a "Letter to the Editor" at a community newspaper complaining that we had chopped down trees to on the edges of the Hospital ground to make way for new banners promoting the new brand - when infact we did not remove or chop down any trees, simply trimming edges. But one of the number one lessons in PR is that not providing a comment or response is worse than any other action you could take.
Working on big-scale changes such as these, you find it is hard to please everyone. Other than this, the launch event and launch in general have been a success so far :) Hope you enjoy the photos below!

HELLO
This is a great event you held with a clear campaign message. Using a social media to communicate during this campaign is a very splendid proposal, as we know that most of the people, both children and adult use facebook to exchange information, especially latest one, and it is good to found out that the hospital used facebook to create awareness of the Hospital's new workplace brand campaign that include changing the uniform and change of ID.
And the message reached the targeted audience which is the staff of the hospital. I think it could have been a good public relation act act to comment on the article made in the community newspaper that u chopped the trees on the edge of the hospital ground to make a way for a new banners promoting the campaign is false' that what the journalist wrote in the newspaper is not true, because if they dnt comment the public will think maybe it is true what in the paper.
