Just a bit of background on Number 86 at Town of Cambridge to put my project in perspective "Number 86 Youth Centre is targeted at 12-25 year olds who live, study or socialise within the Town’s precinct. The centre provides a range of services including counseling, a hangout zone, training courses and school holiday activities and events. The centre is open from noon to 8pm during the week."
I have been asked to develop a Communication Strategy which examines the Number 86 Cambridge Street Youth Centre’s current marketing activity and makes recommendations on how to develop marketing activities that will be more strategic and effective. Particularly in relation to developing a consistent style for all the marketing material they produce and increasing the use public relation to enhance brand recognition and participation at the service.
To do this project I will be spending a few afternoons at the youth centre meeting the staff and familiarising myself with the staff and the activities they conduct and the marketing material they currently use.
